On the occasion of the International Frankfurt Motor Show, Citroën presents a concept car inspired by the Méhari: Cactus M. The brand offers a reinterpretation of C4 Cactus overturned leisure, life on the beach and full of outdoor activities, like that his "grandfather".
One year after the European launch of the C4 Cactus, and just weeks after his arrival on the occasion of the International Motor Show in Frankfurt, Citroën proposes a conceptual derivation of that product with the Cactus M.
The character of the Cactus M concept, as suggested in the street model is accentuated by treatment of a different style with the addition of specific elements. As the Méhari at the time, this concept has been conceived as a vehicle designed for life on the beach and outdoors.
The side exhibit greater ground clearance, through the use of tires Tall & Narrow allowing enlarge the diameter of the wheel, while reducing its width and thereby increase the ride height. In turn, the Cactus M has a rake of the windscreen 60 °, in order to show a more robust appearance.
