Tuesday night unveiled her BMW to the second generation of the X1. Known internally as F48, the official presentation will take place at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show in September. We know all the details, images and video, after the jump.

There will also be full LED optical variable sport steering and Dynamic Damper control optionally available. M sports suspension available will be offered as optional equipment. BMW also promises improved agility of the BMW X1, thanks to the low center of gravity of the vehicle, and the almost perfect weight distribution between the two axles 50:50.
There are also developments in the permanent all-wheel drive system xDrive. It is equipped with an electro-plate clutch regulation, promising a precise distribution of drive power between the two axles according to the dynamic behavior of the vehicle.
When you start producing plant in Regensburg, Germany, the X1 will come with both petrol and turbodiesel variants. Among the first shown BMW X1 20i, riding a 2.0 four-cylinder twin-scroll turbo capable of 192 hp between 5,000 and 6,000 rpm and 280 Nm of torque from 1,250 and up to 4,600 laps. They may carry sixth manual gearbox or automatic Steptronic eight, front- or permamante integral.
